What’s a pleached Quondong??
We’re a big fan of using plants in ways they weren’t intended for, such as these stunning pleached Quondongs – Eleocarpus eumundii. Pleaching is the process of removing the branches and foliage from the main stem to create a bare trunk, leaving a lovely ‘mop top’ affect. These Quondong which are normally used as a hedging plant, were pleached on a project we designed and built in Mosman.
